Help Emmanuel Nweke Get his Dying Wish To See His Mom

Last night 1/4/05 on the 11pm news, CBS-46 ran a story about an 18 year old boy who is a twin with a severe heart problem. This young man is from Nigeria. Most of you know that I'm a Nigerian citizen and care very much about home. There is no place like home and your fellow home people. The story Reporter Ryan Deal ran was about this boy's DYING WISH! You see, the Doctors gave him 2 months to live and his mom lives in Nigeria. Emmanuel Nweke and his twin brother Samuel lives here with their dad Kennis, also from Nigeria. The problem is that the US Embassy in Nigeria has refused to give the mother a visa stating that she has no proof of coming back to Nigeria if given a visitor's visa. The Make a Wish Foundation came to see him in the hospital and his dying wish is to SEE HIS MOM! He cannot fly to Nigeria because of his intensive care. Dad tells me that mom has her own business in Nigeria and he has since remarried and they both have their lives but this is really a matter of COMPASSION and CARING. Many foreigners have abused the priviledge of coming into this country and never leave, overextending their visas but we can give illegal aliens drivers licenses in California and other states. Many US businesses have even been busted for hiring illegals too. There are 6 million Nigerians in the United States and the Census bureau says approximately 2 million are in Georgia alone. We are a close knit community and all I, Kemi Lane need from you today is to sign my petition to the US Embassy and INS (Dept Of Homeland Security)/Immigration and Naturalization Service.
