How Canada can save itself from drug addiction.

There should be a new effort in Canada to reduce the amount of people using hard drugs. The problems with force has been unpredictable, expensive and well ingrained within organized crime. The need to overcome the influences of organized crime in prisons and the streets may be to take away the problem.
I started this idea nearly two years ago on different media and kept refining it until newer readers started to think it was workable.
Here is the start of this plan that I'm talking about and want the Federal/Provincial Governments
to take notice and possibly start it.
The idea is to build two trails across Ontario that will be securely away from populated area's. These trails would be used for a rehabilitation program that will demand a physical effort. The work required to build the trails, its structures, and including walking them will provide the experiences and time needed for these people.
The influence of criminal activity sould be virtually impossible. Using both trails for hiking in different directions will prevent contacts anywhere along these trails illuminating a criminal network. With proper influences, instruction, and a good more they can learn how to work with one another in a group under instruction, and may remain healthier for life.
Now that there is better technology there are so many ways not to loose someone. If someone chooses to leave, quit or run (maps are provided) after agreeing to be there then let them face the people who sent them there. Before someone has completed enough to finish a final drug tests could determine if someone should be allowed home.
The scenic beauty of going through Ontario or all of Canada is a very good reason to stay. When these trails are no longer needed all of Canada could benefit from a frontier to walk though themselves. So if you think its possible that this would work would you please sign the petition.
