In Support of Meadow Pond Brook Walking Trail

We, the undersigned, are opposed to the destruction of Meadow Pond Brook Walking Trail, known as PID 70193040, West St, Liverpool Nova Scotia. We are opposed to the construction of Creek Side Ridge seniors apartment housing, as proposed by Barry Tomalin and Stew Horton, in said location.
We note that the rezoning of Meadow Pond Brook Walking Trail , PID 70193040, from Light Industrial (M1) to Residential (R3), is contradictory to the Municipal Planning Strategy as adopted by the Region of Queens.
We ask for the area to maintain its current zoning of Light Industrial (M1), and to be considered for rezoning as Recreation/Open Space (P1).
We support the Notice of Planning Appeal as submitted to the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board by Holly Anne MacDonald and Cindy Louise MacLeod under Section 247 of the Municipal Government Act.
We hereby request that the Region of Queens Council and Town Planning Department revoke any plans for the sale and/or rezoning to Residential (R3) of PID 70193040 known as Meadow Pond Brook Walking Trail.
