After recently finding out about the iPod Touch and iPhone Firmware upgrade to 2.0, I noticed something that quite frankly disappointed me, and made me quite angry. The suspicion is that the new firmware upgrade will be free for iPhone users, but will not be free iPod Touch users, again. I broke down and bought the January upgrade for $20, which I thought was overly expensive, and now I notice that this second upgrade is the same business. I have no insight as to why the iPhone users can get this upgrade for free, yet iPod Touch users will have to pay for a second time. We have paid enough money as it is for these great products, but Apple is burning us with extra fees just to keep our products up to date. Don't get me wrong, I love my iPod, and I have loved iPod's since I got my nano in December of '06, but I think this new upgrade feature is a scam and a rip off of Apple's customers.
I would honestly like to know why it is free for iPhone users, and not for iPod Touch users.
