Dear Secretary Mattox:
We, the undersigned Morgantown area bicyclists hereby petition the State of West Virginia to provide means for bicyclists to cross Cheat Lake at Ices Ferry during the replacement of Ices Ferry Bridge.
Ices Ferry Bridge provides the only practical means for bicycles to cross Cheat Lake. Many local area cyclists as well as visitors to the Morgantown area frequently used Ices Ferry Bridge to travel between the Morgantown area and points east of Cheat Lake. The recent closing of Ices Ferry Bridge makes it impossible for us bicyclists to cross the lake for work and recreation.

I've grown up using the "old iron bridge" in my daily life- Please let as many people as possible (this includes bicyclists!) enjoy this bridge while it still stands.
