We the Fans of the New York Mets, and other fans of pure baseball are concerned that the new mets stadium will follow in the steps of other new stadiums by having the name sponsored by some corporate entity.
Therefore we request that the new stadium keep with the pure form of baseball and of stadiums by only being named after William A Shea, the Mets themselves, or Jackie Robinson.
We request the only exception be made for sponsorship by METLIFE (even we can see the appeal)
The respect of our team and its home can and will be greatly effected by your decision on how to proceed.
