I am petitioning for England cricket coach Andy Flower to be awarded a knighthood for his services to sport and humanity. Mr Flower originally from Zimbabwe was one of the greatest cricketers ever to live, but when he stood up to the brutal regime in his homeland by wearing a black arm to signal the death of democracy under Robert Mugabe's regime during a world cup match, he was forced to take political asylum in England. While in England him and his brother Grant joined Essex county cricket club who they served with great dignity. When England coach Peter Moores left his role Mr Flower took the job and has lead his team to becoming one of the greatest cricket teams ever produced, with wins in 2 ashes series and wins over South Africa, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. For all these reasons I believe Andy Flower is warranting of a knighthood
