The Splash team are the people responsible for organising the Christmas party on 07/12/07 and Splash Cash/Auction. Though they did a great job in organising the party, there are a few issues that need to be addressed.
The purpose of the Splash Auction is to give CSRs an incentive to do our best to earn Splash Cash so we can bid on some prizes to take home. However, some whiz kid on the Splash team thought it would be a hilarious joke to organise two separate auctions for mystery prizes. One of which contained a Nintendo Wii, and the other contained a box of dirt. Rochelle placed a bid of $135 Splash Cash and won a box of dirt.
Most people thought it was a joke but in the spirit of Splash, believed that the whiz kid behind this practical joke would eventually come out and hand over a Nintendo Wii. However, when a hall full of fellow employees pointed and laugh, it quickly became apparent that the nature of the mystery box filled with dirt was to humiliate and demoralise whoever had the misfortune of winning it.
The purpose of this petition is not to extort anyone into doing anything. Rather it is to give the people involved, a chance to do the right thing. Lets remind the people at Splash that their job is to make our work environment as pleasant as possible and not to have fun at the expense of others.
