Fun Fact: The MacBooks dispatched to us late last year hadn't been upgraded by Apple for two years, and were discontinued in June this year because of how bad they were. Those are currently sitting in front of the students in Year 9 and Year 10 at Aquinas College.

Hi, I'm Troy McClure. You may know me as a student from Aquinas College, Gold Coast -- you just don't know which one though. I'm aiming at replacing our insufficient computers, White '09 Model MacBooks, with 2011 Model MacBook Airs or MacBook Pros. Next year, the Year 9's of that year are getting them. Why not us?

Fact is, our current computers are frankly not up to task. They aren't running they latest OS (they're running Snow Leopard, not Lion), they can barely handle intensive programs such as the Adobe Suite (if they even open it at all), and are just too easy to break, so much as that most kids have had some sort of hardware problem requiring a repair.

I won't hold you up any longer. If you care about getting your MacBook replaced with a better model, please sign!
