Live Football on Friday Nights

To Whom It May Concern:

Channel Nine for well over a decade have subjected us to the High rating TV show Burkes Backyard. In fact, its 17 years.

At the same time, Channel Nine also has the exclusive rights to coverage of 2 NRL Rugby League games a week. Unfortunately, Sports fans have had to endure a delayed telecast of a game that is half over, before the telecast kickoff begins. That is, if they bothered to stay up.
Also, the NRL are trying to promote the game to as many fans as possible, yet younger viewers are unable to stay up and watch the game due to the fact that they may not be able to remain awake (as well as the fact, its way past bedtime).
What is worse, is that there is no radio coverage as a result of Channel Nines telecast, and Sportsfans have to resort to watching updates via the NRL website, or other independent fansites.
Now is the time for us to voice our opinion to Channel 9, now that Burkes Backyard is Finishing up in November.
Personally, I would rather have an earlier game that is live, interrupted by advertising, than a game delayed by 30 plus minutes, which is still interrupted by advertising.
With the current high-scoring games, there is plenty of opportunity for ads, as well as the option of advertising on the screen.
