This is a petition to Most Haunted/Antix for their terrible treatment of Medium Chris Conway.
To whom it may concern
Having been an avid fan of Most Haunted since the beginning, and witnessing the structure of the programme change beyond recognition, I would like to make a formal complaint.
Firstly the treatment of Chris Conway during the shows has been disgraceful and quite frankly embarrasing at times, there have been times where Yvette was just plain bullying him with her sniping comments and being unwilling to listen to what he was saying. To then shut him away in the hub whilst the investigation continued took away a lot of the enjoyment from the programme.
The amount of tricks and antics that have also gone on with the show that is obviously not actual phenomenon but staged by other members of the crew, mainly Karl and Stuart has again caused outrage with the viewing public, we have been aware of this for sometime, but lately it has turned from a paranormal investigation into the Karl and Stuart show, to the point where we can quote something will happen before it actually does, ususally as a break is coming and Karl "sees" a shadow and runs off to investigate.
Ofcom ruled in 2005 that this was an entertainment show, however at no point do you claim yourselves that this is for entertainment purposes only, at the start and end of each show Yvette clearly says that there is no acting, so fakery and that you are a serious paranormal investigation team. With this in mind you are misleading the viewers by maintaining that it is serious and not for entertainment value only as deemed by Ofcom.
Because of the fakery and the bullying that goes on within the team and Antix I feel that it is time that Most Haunted first of all made an on air apology to their viewers who have followed them and been let down, also an apology to Chris Conway for the treatment received during and after Most Haunted.
I also feel that the show has run its course and implore living tv to remove the show as soon as possible, and also hope that channel 5 realise what they are bringing to the table if they do indeed have Most Haunted move to them in 2011.
Below are people that agree with this and feel that now is the time for Living TV to do something about the show Most Haunted.
