This petition is directed to the Government of Ontario and The Ontario Ministry of Transportation. We, the undersigned, urge you to please get involved and help lower insurance rates for drivers in our province. It has been widely reported that Canadian insurance companies made a PROFIT of $2.63 billion in 2003, yet many motorists in Ontario are paying thousands of dollars for auto insurance each year. We believe that it is time that the Government of Ontario gets involved and lowers auto insurance rates.
