Marin Wellness Center Needs to Be Relocated

The Marin Wellness Center, at 1100 Sir Francis Drake Blvd in Kentfield, is inappropriately located close to the College of Marin, Kent Middle School and next door to single family dwellings. The purpose of this petition is not to deny those truly in need of medical marijuana for health reasons, but to communicate our disagreement with the location of the Marin Wellness Center. Our concerns are as follows:
1) Increased foot traffic in a previously quiet neighborhood.
2) The building at 1100 Sir Francis Drake is not zoned for sales of marijuana.
3) The proximity to schools and family dwellings is unacceptable.
