More news coverage for tennis in Austin!

I'm sending out this petition as part of an effort to get more local television coverage of tennis. Tennis is often neglected in local news sports broadcasts. Recently one station did not even provide highlights of the US Open Semifinals where Austin resident, Andy Roddick, was playing.
I would like to get the word out that tennis is growing in popularity and participation among Austinites. It is important that our efforts to broaden the base of the tennis playing community in Austin is recognized and supported by the local news stations.
Our hope is that by providing these stations with enough signatures they will realize the significant presence of the Austin tennis playing populace. This will serve to promote further growth in our sport and recognition of our efforts to provide to all Austinites who desire to play the game an opportunity to do so.
