We the undersigned residents of Frederick, Colorado and concerned parents of children attending the schools within mile of Medical Systems of Denver (MSDI), petition the Frederick Board of Trustees to deny the application for MSDI for the operation of a Medical Waste Treatment Facility at Facility at 7600 Johnson Drive in Frederick, Colorado.
We believe that the placement of a medical waste facility in close proximity to three schools is inappropriate and potentially hazardous. The placement of this facility may also negatively impact home values and may alter the character of the surrounding properties and community.
Per the towns comprehensive plan, The town Plan promotes resolutions with these potential conflicts in the best overall interest of the community. We believe the weakness and threats far outweigh the strengths and benefits of this facility at this location.
