We, the undersigned, are concerned that MuchMusic, the nation's music station, claims to want to support new emerging independent musical acts, but in reality is really run by corporate politics and new material and/or videos will not be aired on MuchMusic unless funded through their program Videofact and/or submitted through an affiliate company.
Not only has this treatment affected many independent up and coming acts, but as well, has affected MuchMusic's viewer relationships.
This petition is a demonstration of the numbers that support not only the airing of ANTI-HERO's "Unpretty" music video, but as well the amount of people who want to see MuchMusic air more independent videos period.
Perhaps this petition will demonstrate to MuchMusic that they should seriously reconsider their conduct, otherwise, their audience may decrease immensely.
