We, the undersigned, need to see this pay-per-view battle. This battle is VERY important to the Hip-Hop nation because we are tried of rappers that cant rap taking over the charts while artists who put in years of work get placed on the sidelines.
Nas, you are at the top of your game. You are one of the few rappers that are not only a mainstream rapper and a well respected artist, but you also display something that most rappers dont display nowadays; you bring back the essence of rap and have even converted a few pop fans to tell the difference between rap and Hip-Hop. Your positive and conscious songs are some thing that fans and radio needs. Battling Jay-Z might show once and for all that it takes skill and hard work to rhyme, not beats and looks.
To all signers: Please, be real and legit. Sign only once (and only ONCE!) and spread the word about this petition to get more people to sign. Jay-Z hardcore fans are encouraged to sign HOWEVER, if you have nothing nice to say, leave your comments blank. Leave the venom to the artists. Nas fans, no hatred towards Jay-Z, please. This petition is to get Nas to reconsider the battle. If you cant leave a mature respond, PLEASE dont sign!
We do have one request to Jay-Z. If Nas agrees to the battle, please have all proceeds from the event go to a charity and not in your pocket. We supported you enough with record sales and concert showings. Have a purse, but the proceeds must be donated to a good deserving charity.
