No Hunting at Buttermilk falls!

Mendham Town hall
We the undersigned, are greatly concerned by the hunting permit at the Buttermilk falls on Combs hollow.
For as long as Ive lived in the township Ive known numerous people who enjoy visiting the natural 208 acres of the falls everyday. It was a beautiful, peaceful reserve with great scenery and a wonderful place to walk the dog, or go for a jog, now it is about to be closed off to men with riffles for hunting season.
I live down the street from the falls and I have had mornings on my way to work that I passed by men in camouflage suits walking down the road, riffle in hand. I understand there are those who consider this a sport, but to me it just seems unsafe to allow this in a residential area.
My father is a business owner in the town of Mendham and he also feels that it is just not safe to have these men firing there guns so close to these homes neighboring the falls.
I know that there is no way to ban hunting, that is a whole other, greater issue, but please consider hearing us out on the buttermilk falls.
