No Public Smoking and no illegal selling of Tobacco.

I address this petition to all the residents of Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha in specific and all the citizens of India in general. Even though,Bhubaneswar is the capital city of Odisha, it is unable to implement the (Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce, Production, Supply and Distribution) Act-2003 effectively. Government has issued a notification to newspapers and I'm giving the link of notification...http://www.docstoc.com/docs/22535457/Government-of-India-Notification-on-Anti-Smoking-Act .Now its required to make an effort to enact the law and its only possible through involvement of citizens. Along with this,OMFED authorities made certain rules and regulations like not allowing selling of Tobacco in OMFED milk booths.Even though,the laws are in place authorities have failed to regulate them completely. We have to make sure that this law is enacted properly in all the places and everyone should follow the law because 40 per cent of deaths occur in India due to tobacco related diseases every year. If you are signing this petition and taking resolution to spread the message then you have to make a promise that you will never violate this law. The detailed structure regarding the plan and support will be sent to every person who signed this petition.Its an effort to spread this to whole India starting right from Bhubaneswar.I request you to spread this message and petition to all your friends and relatives.
