No tax on our PC

Dat de regering graag centjes uit de zakken van haar bevolking haalt, da's niet nieuw meer. Belastingen hier, taxen daar, het houdt schijnbaar niet op. Vadertje staat probeert zich dan ook op alle manieren draaiende te houden en deze keer is het de beurt aan de PC-gebruikers.

De kamercommissie voor het Bedrijfsleven heeft immers over een wet gestemd die een tax zou invoeren op PC's. De wet is er uiteindelijk doorgeraakt, ook al hebben sp.a, Vlaams Belang en CD&V tegen het wetsvoorstel gestemd. Dit houdt in dat we binnenkort allemaal een tax van 30 tot 40 zullen moeten betalen op nieuwe PC's. Men vond het namelijk hoog tijd dat de wet van het copyright naar het digitale tijdperk omgezet zou worden; de tax dient dan ook als zogezegde compensatie voor de artiesten die slachtoffer zijn van het illegale downloaden van muziek.

De logica ontgaat me even volledig. Maar dat zal wel aan mij liggen, zeker?
