NRL referees are dominating the games, to the point that NRL matches are no longer entertaining to watch.
The NRL claims: "The NRL closely monitors the opinions of all fans and where a reply is sought we will endeavour to respond to as many as possible on an individual basis .
Please note that while we welcome constructive feedback and strong opinions, the NRL will not reply ot any correspondence of an offensive nature."
The goal of this petition is to effect action on the part of the NRL to hold the referees to account for their inability to monitor the game. What is the point of having these eyes on the field when they continually miss the knock-ons, the trips, and the high tackles?
Game after game sees the officials unable to "see" the plays. It's been stated in the media. It's been stated in our conversations.
NRL referees need a reformation, or the game will continue to suffer. With all eyes on the field, why are the missing so much? Why aren't they being held accountable?
Without change, NRL will be tainted with the bitter taste of poor judgement.
The NRL as an organisation must be made aware of the position of its supporters: make changes or suffer the loss of fans, support, and credibility. People won't want to watch the fumbling idiocy of poor judgement.
Referees who are unable, or unwilling, to make correct calls should be unemployed.
