Ogden Valley Anti Growth

To: The Honourable Chairman of the Ogden Valley Township Planning Commission and the board members:

The petition of (a) citizens of the Upper Ogden Valley, UT,(b) residents of the County of Weber, or (c) any other concerned Utah residents, draws to the attention of the Ogden Valley Township Planning Commission in their approval/disapproval of developments and growth in the Upper Ogden Valley, Weber County, UT, to include the Sage Glenn Cluster Subdivision in Liberty, UT.

Your petitioners therefore request the Planning Commission either disapprove or greatly reduce/limit the amount of homes and amenities built in Ogden Valley subdivisions, to include the Sage Glenn Cluster Subdivision in Liberty, Weber County, UT to stay in line with the limits set by the General Plan of 6,200 dwellings. Our concerns are many and listed below are a few:

Over demand of the Valleys water supply, septic contamination into ground water, drainage and run off/flooding, impact of natural springs in these areas, impact on existing schools- student to teacher ratios, overall safety, fire storm and fire fighting capabilities, egress and ingress in the case of emergencies, mass evacuations - emergency vehicle access with increased traffic congestion, increased air pollution/air quality, wildlife corridors and birthing areas, and the higher values of these new homes, which increases the values of existing homes, which increases current residences property taxes. (In turn, this could force many owners to be taxed out of their homes) Please give your name, address, and sign this petition. Your personal letter to the Planning Commission is needed.
