This petition is a stand against the Big Oil Companies that have held this country hostage for far too long. Since we the American people do not have a choice on fueling up our cars to commute back and forth to work everyday with gasoline alternatives, we as a society need to have benchmarks set so companies like Exxon Mobile do not post net profits of $41 billion a year like they did in 2007 while we struggle to pay for the basic necessities of life. The oil companies lock into a price per barrel from refineries yet the price per barrel continues to soar. So I ask everyone to please sign this petition if they are fed up with the Big Oil Companies holding Americans hostage with their hyper inflated price of oil. Let our voices be heard and let us force our elected officials do what they are paid to do, work for the American Public.

I just paid $911 for fuel oil. I keep my thermostat at 60F, at 50F when no one is home, and from 10pm-6am.
