We are Americans with disabilities, parents, siblings, friends and co-workers. More importantly, we are registered voters. There are more than 40 million eligible voters with disabilities in the United States and significantly more when you include family members and friends. Roughly 16 million Americans with disabilities voted in the last national election. That number is expected to grow this year.
Recently you were invited to share your views at the Americans with Disabilities 2004 Convention, to be held Saturday, September 18, at the Atlantic City Convention Center. Thousands of us from around the country will be there. Will you?
