Petition against movie price hike

Dear fellow Singaporeans,
From 1 May, 2005, Golden Village, Eng Wah, and Lido will be increasing their ticket prices (AGAIN) from $6.50 to $7.00 and $8.50 to $9.50! Even with the intervention of the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE), the three organizations seem to have no intention of changing their minds.
I urge all of you, Singaporeans who watch movies (WHO DOESNЇT?!), to sign this petition and pass the link on. We may not be able to prevent this consumer tragedy from happening, but we must make it known that there is a limit to our tolerance (and the depth of our pockets)!

Below is the article from The Straits Time article.
