Petition to Expel Michele Bachmann from Congress

It's time to expel Congresswoman Michele Bachmann from Congress. She has shown that she wants to take back health care and important social safety nets the people of Minnesota currently have. She is also working against health care and the well-being of people in the United States by trying to "repeal" health care and the current President. She actively works against the people in her district, does not represent them whatsoever, and simply pursues her own fame and national ambitions and that of the Tea Party. The Tea Party is not her district. The people of her district need a representative in Congress, and as of now, we don't have one. It's clear that Michele Bachmann has no interest in providing her district with real representation in Washington. She campaigns against earmarks, which would be money for her district. During her tenure in office she has only accomplished two small road projects for her district. Now she has threatened to take away Medicare for Minnesotans.

Enough is enough. Since Michele Bachmann insists on working against the people in her district, we demand that she leaves Congress and allows her district to get better representation in Washington. According to Article I, Section 5, Clause 2 of the US Constitution, a Senator or Representative may be expelled if there is a formal vote on a resolution agreed to by two-thirds of the members of the Senate or House body who are present.


"Each House may determine the rules of its proceedings, punish its members for disorderly behavior, and, with the concurrence of two thirds, expel a member."

Sign this petition and it will be presented to Congress as our plea for real representation in Washington. Michele Bachmann must be expelled and replaced.
