Dear Madam,
We, the undersigned, find that the Vilasrao Deshmukh led Congress-NCP government in Maharashtra has been an absolute failure in doing their responsibilities towards the citizens of Maharashtra.
Following is a summary of the misdeeds of this government:
Law and Order Maharashtra has become unsafe for migrants (especially from UP and Bihar) due to inaction of the state government. In addition bomb blasts in trains and buses have added to the misery. National Integration Council says that maximum riots in India happened in Maharashtra in past 4 years.
Employment Industry reports say that 45,000 SME (Small-Medium Enterprises) have shut down in Maharashtra in the past 4 years. One main factor is massive electricity shortage of about 5,000 MW (total capacity in the state has increased by only 0.4\% to 11,650 MW in the past 9 years). Farmer suicides in past 4 years alone have crossed 6,000 deaths.
We ask your good-self to vow to do everything within your power to impose President's rule in Maharashtra as this government is immoral, inactive and dangerous towards civil rights for all people of India.
