I think that people should think before they breed another litter of puppies or kittens. They should think about how when they're bringing these lives into the world, the same amount, even more lives are leaving. People shouldn't add to the overpopulation

I volunteer at an animal shelter that rescues dogs and cats who are on the euthanasia list at other shelters. Its depressing how many great mized breeds get put to sleep, just because someone prefered a purebred.

I've rescued countless strays, some even pregnant. This Saturday I'm picking up two more, a pregnant female and an unaltered male. Stray population is skyrocketing everywhere, and we need to take measures to at least make sure the animals don't reproduce.
