Quality in Television

We, the undersigned, in order to form a more perfect television audience, call on studios to invest more in the forgotten arts of deep scriptwriting and telefantasy. In short, we fear that better production standards have replaced, not augmented, strong stories in television drama. We understand the need for high ratings, however nobody ever got frightened by a good tale unless it's a ghost story shared round a campfire. Further, a good story will have a longer shelflife than a flashy but stale production. There is gold in them thar adventures.
