This petition is to support the prayer to install the wax statue of Rani Mukerji, the Best actress of Indian cinema in last decade, at the Madame Tussaud's Museum in London. Rani Mukerji is the combination of a spontaneous actress, a superstar, a perfect role model yet a down-to-earth persona with whom people from any age can relate to and her impact is huge in the history of Bollywood. Below these points are highlighted to justify the petition.

Actress : The name Rani Mukerji symbolizes Versatility. She can deliver a deaf & dumb role in the landmark movie Black & then transforms her to a character of cheerful ,effervescent Babli in the movie Bunty aur Babli effortlessly .Her portrayal of a sweet yet independent strong woman in Hum tum made people fall in love with her. She can make any supporting role more special only by her talent like she did in a role of a strong-willed Bengali woman in Yuva or in a role of a Pakistani Lawyer in the movie Veer Zaraa or more recently No one killed Jessica where her portrayal of a kickass On your face gutsy journalist made people to take notice. She symbolizes the changing role of woman actresses in Bollywood where the female protagonist is not only a toy for male dominated hindi movies but a force to reckon with .She has the guts to carry a film on her own shoulder & breaking the myth that only male-dominated movies succeed in Bollywood.

Awards & Achievements : Rani Mukerji occupied the top slot of Filmfare's 'Top Ten Bollywood Actresses' list for two years in a row (20042005). She was also placed number one on Rediff's 'Top Bollywood Female Stars' Rankings for three consecutive years (20042006), In February 2006, Filmfare Magazine placed her eighth amongst the "Ten Most Powerful Names of Bollywood", an achievement she repeated from the previous year, where she was ranked at number ten, the only woman on the list. In 2007, she was ranked at number five. On Women's International Day 2007, Rani Mukerji came in fourth position on the All-Time Best Bollywood Actresses Ever listing.
She has won six Filmfare awards(most prestigious award for Hindi Film Industry). She is the first and only actress to have ever won both the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress trophies in a single year (2005) at the Filmfare. She is also the first and only actress to date to win both the Filmfare Critics' Choice Best Actress and the Filmfare Best Actress popular awards during the same year for the same film (Black in 2006). She also holds the record for the most wins in the Best Actress category at International Indian Film Academy(IIFA) awards, leading with three consecutive wins.

Charity Work : In February 2005, Rani performed at the HELP! Telethon Concert to help raise money for the victims of Tsunami .She was part of Temptations 2005 show in New Delhi to help raise funds for the National Centre For Promotional of Employment for Disabled People (NCPEDP), a leading disabled rights' group. She donated her prize money of 50 lakh rupees from her 2007 appearance on Kaun Banega Crorepati, to the Holy Family Hospital. In March 2004, Mukerji visited the sandy dunes of Rajasthan to boost the morale of the Indian soldiers. In 2011 , she became the brand ambassador for the NGO Siksha project for growth of child education throughout India & also lent her name for the project of Indian Stroke Association to set up funds for treatment of Stroke patients who do not have the money to bear the cost of treatment.

Role Model : She is the inspiration of thousands of normal-looking Indian girls who has the desire to succeed. When she first started her career ,producers thought people will not accept her different voice but over the years she is identified by her unique husky voice. She lacks in height but she elevates herself to a level with help of her superlative talent where no one can touch her. She has dusky complexion & never tried to hide it thus breaking the myth you need to be fair to succeed in glamour world. She is the perfect example of common mans superstar. Thatswhy people fondly call her Queen of Hearts. She is a Self made star with whom million of Indians can identify with.

Global Appeal : She is not only a superstar in India but globally she has huge fanbase. Thats why she was invited as special guest for her film retrospectives in different film festivals e.g. at Casablanca Film Festival in 2005 , at Indian Film Festival (IFF 2010) in Australia ,at TIFF 2009 for special screening of her film Dil bole Hadippa or at French premiere of her movie Veer Zaara in 2006.People show their adulation for the lovely actress all over the world.

So here is the brief achievement of a superstar who truly live life in her own terms , dont know the term failure & always eager to prove the critics wrong by bouncing back like a phoenix from the ashes with her "Never Say die" attitude & whose biggest strength is her millions of fans who treat her like a Queen. We sincerely believe she is the best candidate to be immortalized at Madame Tussaud.
