Reconsider the New Changes to Cityville

We, the undersigned, are a part of a large community of loyal Cityville players who have devoted much time effort and money in to your game because it brings us a much needed stress release in these hard times but the recent changes you and your team have made are ruining the experience for us all. The following changes have made it impossible for your most loyal and devoted followers to play at an enjoyable level and is forcing us to limit our activity or abandon playing all together. Many including myself have completely stopped playing Cityville completely because the new unfair bombardments your company have made to the game make it more of a hassle than an enjoyment.

1) Energy Caps/Zoning Limits/Permit Limits- These unfair limitations make it impossible for high level players to harvest crops, collect rent, build property, or basically manage a larger city that a higher level player would have. In essence you are limiting already established users from playing your supposedly "free" game unless they pay your company for more energy. If so this is a "slight of hand" practice that must be investigated further.

2) Frequent Glitches- The glitches to the game has us reloading it for more time than we actually play. The promises to fix the problem from customer support have gone unfulfilled to this day.

3) Costly Expansions- The cost for city expansions is outrageous and considering the new recent limitations put on players with Energy Caps and Permit/Zoning limits is unreasonable. Unless a player buys coins from Zynga I do not see how they can afford expansions with the amount of energy allowed. This is also not fair for long time players.


In short we ask that you reconsider these greedy practices as they will force thousands to abandon a beloved pastime, leave your company in an unfavorable light with its target market and in the public eye as it has already started doing, and leave thousands to seek refunds for what boils down to be a "bait and switch" scam.

Mr. Pincus if you are as smart as we think you are you might be asking yourself what your customers actually want. Simple, we want the old fun Cityville back without the problems. NO energy caps, NO permit or zoning caps, NO glitches, and expansions that are actually affordable for players. I don't think we are asking for to much considering your company is doing well for itself valued at $5.27 billion because of loyal consumers like us.

We are still loyal to Cityville and would love to resume playing it as long as it goes back to being an enjoyable fair game. If not you will permanently lose every person signing this petition as a costumer.

We urge you to listen to your customers who are asking nothing more than good customer support and cooperation.
