Religion vs Schools

I went to my sons school the other day to check out the book fair and I was disgusted to see the books that they are selling in the schools for children to purchase. Harry Potter, Gothic, Dragons, Gargoyles, and ofcourse books that have to do with sexual intentions and murders. Now I'm not degrading others religion, don't get me wrong. But I feel if they can sell these kind of books in school, why cant they sell books that have to do with Jesus, Moses ( the one who helped spread the word of God), Noah, amongst others( too many to name)? I feel that they need to either allow God back in schools or get all the other religions out. The schools teach our children to be fair to others. Well how can they teach that if they aren't practicing what they preach. They are supposed to be teaching our children morals. What morals are being taught by allowing some peoples religions being in schools but not all. The bad thing about it is these books were in an elementary school. Children at this age need morals, but real morals, " The Truth" Thou shalt not lie! What happened to the Freedom of Religion? The only way to have our children taught about God besides church is to have to pay $2000.00 a month at a christian school, in which the MAJORITY of parents can't afford. And there isn't any financial aid to even help pay for the "TUITION". Why, because they teach christianity and not about paganism? Everyone has a right to their own religion, but if they are going to allow one they need to allow all. It is true that religion begins at home, but there are religions being taught in the history books at schools, and not one of them refers to christianity. So if they can't respect everyone's religion then they don't need to have any religion in school. If it wasn't for God none of us would be here and neither would the history books. Something needs to be done about this. Something can be done and a change can be made. We christians are Gods' messengers just like Moses. If we all feel the way Moses did at first, nothing would change and evil ( as is) would take over. Moses took faith in the Lord on making that change. He might not made everyone believe , but 1 is always better than none. If we don't try then we aren't trusting in our heavenly father above. The saying goes, The Lord only helps those that help themselves. This petition, A hope for change, goes along with prayer. Lets get God back in schools so our children can have a healthy life.
