Respect for the Children of S.V. School District - More Bus Stops!

I am writing this petition to request that the Shenandoah Valley School District recognize the safety of our children in scheduling bus stops, primarily throughout Shenandoah Heights. The Heights children have been neglected more and more in recent years. My daughter is being forced to walk alone 1/4 mile on a curvy road, with no sidewalks, in the dark at 7 AM to meet the bus! Have the Shenandoah Valley officials no respect for little girls in the news these days? Will the School District take responsibility if something happens to my daughters? The school transportation department has made excuses for my street being too tough for the buses. However, years ago, the buses would come down my street to pick up the kids as well as most other narrow streets throughout the Heights. They did what it took to transport the children professionally and safely. Whether you have children involved or not, if you agree with the seriousness of this issue, PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION!
