To the Board of Directors of the Chow Chow Club, Inc.
We the undersigned members of CCCI have chosen to contact our leadership with regard to the latest mail vote issue on the changes to the standard for the CHOW CHOW, prior to submission to AKC for review and vote. With the turn of events and the membership questioning the count, the confusion and validity of the results we hereby would request a new ballot be mailed with complete explanation of what is being voted on and why there is a revote.
Per ARTICLE X Amendments
Section 1. Proposed Amendments. Amendments to these By-Laws and to the Standard for the Breed may be proposed by the Board of Directors or by written petition addressed to the Recording Secretary signed by twenty percent (20\%) of the membership in good standing. Amendments proposed by such petition shall be promptly considered by the Board of Directors and must be submitted to the members with recommendations of the Board by the Recording Secretary for vote within three (3) months of the date when the petition was received by the Recording Secretary.
As there will be a mail vote going out to the membership with regard to the election of the new officers, we would request that this issue be re-mailed and addressed to the membership again.
