--- BACKGROUND ---
From its discovery in 1930 until 2006, Pluto was considered the ninth and smallest of the planets of the Solar System by the International Astronomical Union (IAU). On August 24, 2006 the IAU decided to declassify Pluto as a dwarf planet. The declassification adopted by the assembly has been disputed by members who had left the conference on the grounds that the timetable had been "hijacked" with only 4\% of eligible voters being left in the conference room at the time the resolution was adopted.
--- STATEMENT ---
We (the people of the internet) clearly recognize Pluto as one of the planets of our solar system. Not only that, but it's a binary planet. The closest binary planet in the known universe. Pluto's mystery and significance makes it one of the most interesting objects in our solar system and with the recent launch of the New Horizons mission to Pluto, there is no sence in degrading such an important object.
Pluto IS a planet, and it should clearly be defined as such.
