Zion Wildlife Gardens is Northland's only Wildlife Park. It forms an integral part of the Northland Region. Residents at the park are 36 cat species including Lions, tigers, a Leopard, Cheetahs and servals. Their lives are now at risk, with the park now in receivership it faces very possible closure. We would like to encourage and convince the Northland Regional Council to help to save Zion from closure and to help to preserve it and the resident cats for now and for future generations to come. We are asking for support from Northlanders, New Zealanders and all those around the world who care for these big cats to help lend a voice to convince the Northland Regional Council and the Northland Territorial Authorities to come together and help to make Zion a place for everyone. This could be Northland's own special place now and in the future.
