SAVE THE CHILDREN

I'm petitioning the Canadian Government to grant refugee status to all Syrian children effected by the Conflict that has been raging by the hand of President Bashar al-Assad. I am not asking for status for the men or women, no. I am asking for special authorizations given to the babies. These children don't deserve to be slaughtered at the hands of one man who refuses to step down. He has ruined his country and the blood of his people are on his hands. If we don't step in, more and more children will continue to die and wash ashore the beaches of the world. What will it take for us to step in? How many more photos or articles do you need before we do something more? As I look at my own child I wonder what I would give to save her life and I already know the answer, I would give my own - without hesitation. We as Canadians have the power to help. We have the power to actually do something that can make a difference. Let us not give our government the power over us in human compassion. Please, save the children.
