If you are a member of The Sims Chat, you know what I'm talking about. The chat is going to be taken down due to how old the server is. With all the money Maxis has made, surely they can get a new one and let us continue our chatting experience to help others with their game. For those people who think the BBS is slow, the chat will be there to others for assistance on the spot for unique and confusing questions. It will also be there for the people who just want to have fun and make the place interesting - I am one of those people. So please sign and help us out before they take it down sometime next week!

Maxis PLEASE reconsider your decision to close the chat. There is a large community of chatters all over the world and if you close the chat it will be like part of our lives ripped from us. The BBS and chat are so different and there is definitely a need

I heard their software was also playing up, as well as the servers, but if maxis is a software development company, why can't they design a chat room?

Come on Maxis, I've gone to the chat for like three years now. You can't just get rid of it all of a sudden.
