This petition is specifically concerned with returning Tom Leykis to the airwaves in radio stations nation wide, and was particularly inspired by the change of format of KLXS in Los Angeles, CA, and the cancellation of the Tom Leykis Show. By signing this petition, we call for an end of the change of radio station formats that has been occuring nationwide by CBS Radio(particularly the change of format that is occuring at KLSX in Los Angeles, California to AMP Radio, dropping FREE FM stations in Chicago, New York, San Diego, San Fransisco, and the change of Live 105 in Dallas to the FAN which resulted in the loss of the Russ Martin Show). The signers of this petition enjoy listening to Tom Leykis and other similar radio personalities (This list might include the like of Opie and Anthony, Adam Corolla, Frosty Heidi and Frank, Russ Martin, Danny Banaduce, John and Jeff, etc...), and we would like to see them returned to the air or given proper promotion and retained at your stations if they are still with CBS Radio. We the listners are tired of the constant format changes, the lack of promotion for the stations and talent we enjoy--particularly Tom Leykis, and we are now demanding action from CBS Radio. We are consumers, we purchase the products you sell through advertising on shows like the Tom Leykis program, and you, CBS Radio, are pushing us, the consumers away from your advertisers by denying us of the talent we enjoy, particularly, Tom Leykis. Until Tom Leykis is returned to CBS Radio's lineup, we will boycott CBS Radio stations (for a list of CBS stations, visit: http://www.cbsradio.com/stations/index.html), as there is little talent of value worth listening to them in the first place. If CBS radio does not meet our demands, and Tom Leykis is not returned to the CBS radio lineup, then we will just cease listening to CBS Radio in general, as was previously stated, there is very little talent worth listening to on CBS Radio in the first place, and we have alternate forms of media to recieve our news and entertainment from (iPods, satellite radio, portable media devices, mobile phones, etc...). We hope that CBS Radio will hear our appeal and take the appropriate action, and if not, we hope another radio or entertainment company will take notice of our (the consumer's) demands and deliver the entertainment content we demand.
