Dear Parents of Thomas D. Parkin:
We write this petition to save your son from the horrors of being sent to Texas and being moved from his Utah home. There are numerous advantages to staying in Utah and numerous disadvantages to him moving to Texas, we the people will list in order to help you reconsider this terrible move.
Advantages of staying in Utah:
-His friends will miss him
-He will miss his friends
-He is doing well in school now, why risk his education
-Scientific studies have shown that teenagers forced to move are 50\% more likely to develop a bad social life.
-He will have to abandon his sports teams.
-He may have a girlfriend soon.
-Fewer people speak with a hillbilly accent
-Tom likes Utah despite its mormon influence
Disadvantages to moving to Texas:
-The population of horse flies is far greater in Texas.
-As Texas is closer to the sea, tom is 85\% more likely to be kidnapped by a sea demon
-You will be placing Tom in a state that is proud of spawning Dubya
-There are more Cacti in Texas, and considering Tom's clumsy nature this could be dangerous to his health.
-You will be forced to say you support The Dallas Cowboys
-Texas is sparsely populated and boring.
-Cotton is not a good clothing product
-The girls there are not as hot as the one Tom may be getting as a girlfriend soon
These are just a sampling of the reasons Tom should not be moved to Texas. So I implore you to reconsider your decision to move this poor child into somewhere he really does not like. Thank You. Please people who care anything about the happiness and well-being of a 15 year old boy, sign this and aid a very worthy cause.

Moving sucks. If he's got a happy life where he is now, why force him to move? Who knows what horrors might await him in Texas? For all we know, you could be enrolling him in a school full of gangsters and bullies.

I miss california and its all my parents fault! Please don't force this poor boy to move to TX. Texas is sparce and boring. Also a disadvantage not listed is the overpopulated amount of country music in texas.
