I was dismayed to learn that Uncle Umed is to depart Corrie in the near future.
In his short stay on the street he has become a valued and loved character, injecting unique comedy moments in his own special way. He is a perfect foil for Dev and has the potential to be a classic character is used correctly.
I urge you to reconsider the decision to write him out of the soap.
