This petition has been created by the parents of School 14 in Yonkers NY in order to have our voices heard. We have terrible building conditions that need immediate attention and repair. Our children are having to cope with being moved around from their classroom to make-shift classrooms due to the structural damage.Our school has also been slated to be expanded to accomodate a 6th grade as well. While this seems like a good idea, it would cause a huge disrupstance to the space and the comfort that will be alloted for the classrooms and most importantly our children. We are being left behind by the district because we aren't making enough noise to be heard. All you need to do is sign this petition and provide the information being asked of you in order for the School 14 PTA to be able to move on these dire issues that our children are being faced with. In conclusion, we are also working on raising the funds for the park which our childrn so desperately need and deserve. Anything you can donate to the PTA would be greatly appreciated for this specific issue.
Thanks for your support and hopefully we can get the ball rolling, and make the district aware that we will not take this sitting down and that we ARE going to be there to be sure that our children don't get left behind.

school 14 looks so sad and its incredible that the outside has become so rundown as it has. It's no wonder the inside is crumbling as well. Please make this a positive place for our children to learn.
