Shamasha Makarius' Videos Petition

Within the Assyrian communities, or on the internet, or watching television, or on the radio, you see and hear about the serious issues that are going on within the Assyrian Church of the East. Each side is arguing their case and whether there are lies or truths in them we do not know. This petition is not about the validity of the claims that are made by each side. It is about keeping shrara.com as a source of good, honest, and useful information for us.

Recently there have been videos where Shamasha Makarius is making allegations and accusations against members of the Assyrian Church of the East Clergy. These videos have been published online by www.shrara.com. Shrara.com claims to be "a website dedicated to the promotion of Christian truths and values"

However, these videos that Shrara.com is hosting contain cruel and malicious words that we find offensive. For a website to make the claim of being "dedicated to the promotion of Christian truths and values" and yet publishing such videos where Shamasha Makaruis insults and disrespects our beloved Patriarch Mar Dinkha falls short of any values that shrara.com claims to promote.

We are outraged by such irresponsible words of Shamasha Makarius and we would like his videos removed from Shrara.com. He has hijacked our Holy Bible and mocked our faith because we do not share his views. We resent his accusations and would like a formal apology from him for degrading us and calling us foolish for doing what we believe is right. His videos do not belong on shrara.com . We are asking Shrara.com to please remove them and ban Shamasha Makarius from making any videos on Shrara.com.

We, the undersigned, call on Shrara.com to keep its promise of providing Christians truths and values by removing the videos (Part I and Part 2) by Shamasha Makarius and banning any future documents or videos made by Shamasha Makarius.
