We want a native SIP client in the symbian s60v5 such as nokia n97 or xpress 5800 and samsung omnia i8910 and others.
SIP client as requested was there and functional in the past model like n95 and e series (nokia brand) and other phones but now it has been REMOVED!
This feature allowed a customer with a basic umts account to make FREE call to landlines and others at lower price than the standard pstn.
Some think this choice has been taken not for techical reasons, but caused from pressure from the network carriers which can see their gains dropping down.
we're talking about high level devices, that should not block this kind of advance use with software limitations.
