This petition is presented in opposition to the oganizational name and logo change as proposed on the corps' website.
We, the undersigned alumni, past staff, fans of the corps and current marching members feel such a change to the corps name and image is extremely disgraceful and a show of utter disrespect to all those who have worked so hard in the past, and in recent years, to build and rebuild the name and reputation that St. Johns commands today.
We hope that you view these ideas in the same light as we do, and as such, see that authorizing the proposed changes would be a very big mistake. We encourage you to vote decisively against the proposed changes.

what is the point of changing the name and the uniforms st johns has been reconized for these uniforms for years and i cant believe in a split second u would be willing to change it. if this is done st johns will lose a lot of members. for the past 2 year

This is stupid to change 53 years or so of tradition. Changing the name or etc. is not a good thing to announce to the public so the veterans can find out. My answer is NO. It should stay the same and run the same.
