The epidemic of the over crowded animal shelters is widely and quickly spreading to states all across the nation. The amount of animals in shelters is at an all time high due to economic struggle and inability to keep pets.
No matter how many dogs are in a shelter, the act of killing a dog or cat by gassing it to death should be banned with out question. The financial benefit of four cents per pet is not worth the inhuman, painful, and cruel death these animals are being put through when euthanasia is a simple and realistic alternative.
