Stop Layoff of Ms Green - FLHS Cambridge Magnet Coordinator position from Broward County School Board budget cuts!
We are compelled to reach out to you to share our concerns over Ms. Green -Cambridge Magnet Coordinator at FLHS - being cut due to budget constraints.
We understand that we are facing unprecedented financially challenging times, but decision-makers need to understand the dire effects these cuts are having on our children's education and thier future at Fort Lauderdale High School!
Ms. Green's personal commitment, knowledge and passion that she demonstrates daily for Fort Lauderdale High School, its students and the Magnet program as well as her ability to relate the future possibilities and opportunities to all students is what ensures these students are on the right path not only for graduation and success in the AICE program, but also to enhance their overall involvement in the school and community.
We cannot understand eliminating the coordinator for an entire magnet program! Having one person coordinate two magnet programs will directly affect our children, especially a magnet program geared toward academically elite students.
Please find another solution to your budget cuts and keep Ms. Green as Cambridge Magnet Coordinator at Fort Lauderdale High School.
