We ask that Terry Semel, director and CEO for Yahoo, cease his censoring policy of the adult groups located at yahoogroups.com. We believe that if Yahoo's intent is to make money, censoring the adult groups is the incorrect way to do so. We understand Mr. Semel's desire to protect children from such things, but we, as adults, do not need Semel to tell us what we may or may not think, see, or enjoy. We wish our use of yahoogroups.com to be the user friendly place we remember, not the pit of censorship it has become. We therefore request Terry Semel to cease his actions and policies regarding adult groups at yahoogroups.com.

As a moderator and owner of several adult yahoogroups I agree with this petition.Freedom of speach and media are being infringed upon especially when all precautions are being taken to prevent the need for cencorship!
