Interest-free student loans are in the best interest of everyone. Show your support of a province that supports an educated workforce by signing this petition (if you haven`t sign a paper hard copy version already). Ontario`s future is our decision.
Prince Edward Island was able to give this gift to the students in that province, Ontario can do the same it just has to become a priority. The government makes money from every purchase you`ll make in your lifetime, for them to collect interest on loans the general public uses to pay for school is uncalled for. The income tax I will pay once university is over is enough. Crippling debt is no way to start a healthy professional/personal life after university.
