We would like Harvard University and, in particular, the Faculty of Arts and
Sciences, to reaffirm its dedication to excellence in undergraduate teaching
and advising.
Bruce Watson has been an inspiring teacher and an insightful advisor in
economics, receiving consistently high praise in the CUE Guide and winning
the Levenson Teaching Prize in 2001.
We ask the Faculty of Arts and Sciences to give Harvard undergraduates the
privilege of learning from Bruce Watson and allow Bruce Watson the
opportunity to continue to teach and advise Harvard undergraduates.

two of my roommates and many friends took ec 1010 during the year bruce took over from neugeboren (however you spell that). I distinctly remember their complaints about the professor and stellar reviews of Bruce's teaching. I have not taken a class with B

Bruce Watson is an incredible member of the Harvard community, and his leaving would be a *huge* loss to both Lowell House and the larger undergraduate body. PLEASE don't let some overly specific bureaucracy keep an amazing teacher from providing Harvard
